what sets our work apart

Details matter. Choosing how to manipulate underlying attributes of selected materials and taking the necessary time to do so enable us to incorporate details that lend distinctive qualities to the pieces we create. Details require patience as well as dexterity at critical stages.

It begins with inspiration, which we draw from the materials we work with themselves, and from the vast body of knowledge and explorations of historical and contemporary artisans and artists whose techniques and finished works we admire. And, of course, from the natural beauty of the Monadnock region in which we live, and which has inspired so many generations of artists before us.
